One of the first thing you and your child will notice as you enter the nursery is a range of 'toys' that you will probably never have seen before. This is the specialist Montessori learning equipment, which will help your child to grow.

The equipment is arranged into three areas: Practical Life, Sensorial, Mathematics, Literacy and Cultural. The equipment is presented to the children on easily accessible shelves and is intended to form a major part of their environment such that they cannot help but learn as they explore the equipment.

As your child progresses with each piece of learning equipment, teachers engage in one-to-one teaching, and makes careful notes, which are then fed back to you. The equipment naturally becomes more complicated as they develop.
